Join the Perkins community for one of our favorite traditions — the 2026 Old Settlers’ Day Parade & Festival, presented by the Perkins Chamber of Commerce!

This year’s theme, Home of the Original Cowboy, celebrates the history, people, and pioneer spirit of Perkins and our community’s connection to legendary cowboy Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton.

Bring the whole family downtown for a morning filled with community, history, entertainment, and fun.

Be Part of the Historical Parade

Parade begins at 10:00 a.m.

Businesses, churches, schools, clubs, organizations, families, community groups, equestrians, classic vehicles, tractors, and others are invited to participate in the 2026 Old Settlers’ Day Historical Parade.

Get creative, represent your organization, and help us celebrate Perkins as the Home of the Original Cowboy!

Registered participants will receive additional information about check-in, staging, lineup assignments, and event-day procedures before the event.

Become an Old Settlers’ Day Vendor

Vendor registration is open for artisans, crafters, commercial vendors, organizations, food trucks, and more.

Artisan, Crafter, Commercial & Other Vendors

Perkins Chamber Members: One booth space FREE
Limit one free booth per Chamber member.

Standard Booth Registration: $25 per booth space

Vendors must be completely set up and ready to serve by 8:00 a.m. and remain set up until 1:00 p.m.

Food Trucks

Food Truck Registration: $50 per food truck

Food trucks must be completely set up and ready to serve by 8:00 a.m. and remain at the event until 1:30 p.m.

Vendor Registration Deadline: September 12

Registered vendors will receive a confirmation email followed by their assigned vendor number, location information, and additional event-day instructions.

Sponsor Old Settlers’ Day

Old Settlers’ Day is a community tradition, and its success is made possible through the businesses, organizations, families, and individuals who invest in Perkins.

Sponsorships help support the parade, entertainment, children’s activities, event amenities, awards, signage, and other elements that make Old Settlers’ Day a memorable community celebration.

We have sponsorship opportunities ranging from $50 to $2,500, allowing everyone from individuals and families to major businesses and organizations to support the event.

Original Cowboy Presenting Sponsor — $2,500

Our premier event sponsorship includes top billing, prominent logo placement, social media recognition, event announcements, premium vendor space, and parade recognition.

Pistol Pete Parade Sponsor — $1,500

An exclusive parade-level sponsorship featuring prominent parade promotion, signage, social recognition, announcements, and featured parade placement.

Wild West Sponsor — $1,000

A major community-event sponsorship with prominent recognition on event promotions, signage, social media, and announcements.

Cowboy Country Sponsor — $750

A great opportunity to support entertainment, stage activities, or a featured attraction. Includes event and social recognition.

Trail Boss Sponsor — $500

Perfect for supporting the kids area, games, inflatables, or another event activity. Includes signage and recognition.

Saddle Up Sponsor — $250

A supporting business sponsorship that includes event signage and social media recognition.

Cowboy Legacy Sponsor — $100

Perfect for sponsoring a parade award or trophy and includes sponsor recognition.

Cowboy Friend Sponsor — $50

An opportunity for individuals, families, and community supporters to be part of Old Settlers’ Day.

Your name will be listed on the Community Supporters sign, included in a group sponsor thank-you post, and recognized as an official Old Settlers’ Day supporter.

Cowboy Friend Sponsorships may also be given in honor or memory of someone.
